Sakshi Shivanand

Sakshi Shivanand (born April 15, 1977, in Bombay/Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) is an Indian actress who has appeared in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam films. Though she was born in Mumbai, she is a Kannadiga from Karnataka and is the elder sister of actress Shilpa Anand. She is married to Sagar Anand.

She began her Bollywood career in the late 1990s with films like "Papa Kehte Hai" (starring Jugal Hansraj) and "Zulmi" (with Ajay Devgan) before moving to South Indian cinema.

In a career spanning more than a decade, she acted in more South Indian films than Hindi films, working with top Telugu stars including Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, and Arjun.

Her notable films include "Aadhi Bhagavan," "Ranga The Donga," "Jahan Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega," "Khalnayakon Ka Khalnayak," "Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai," "Pelli Sambandham," "Galate Aliyandru," "Vamsoddarakudu," "Seetharama Raju," "Mappillai Gounder," and "Manjeeradwani". She is particularly known for "Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai" (2003), "Krodh" (2000), and "Jahan Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega" (2007).

She made her Telugu debut in the movie "Master" and became a female sensation of the late 1990s, working exclusively in Telugu films while also appearing in Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada movies.
