His debut studio album "Huqa Pani" was released on November 21, 2003, and became a sensation after his song 'Channo' was released.

He made his acting debut in Bollywood with the film "Tere Bin Laden" in 2010. He has acted in several films such as "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011)", "London, Paris, New York (2012)", "Kill Dil (2014)", and "Dear Zindagi (2016)". He made his Pakistani film debut with "Teefa in Trouble" in 2018.
