Jamshed Bharucha

Jamshed Bharucha is an academic and administrator who served as the President of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art from 2011 to 2015. The Cooper Union is a prestigious private college in New York City known for its programs in art, architecture, and engineering. Before his tenure at The Cooper Union, Jamshed Bharucha had an extensive career in academia. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Vassar College and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Harvard University. He then held various teaching and administrative positions at Dartmouth College, Tufts University, and the University of Provence in France.
