Sadha (full name Sadaf Mohammed Sayed) is an Indian actress known primarily for her work in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema, as well as Telugu television.

She was born on Friday, February 17, 1984, in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India, and hails from a middle-class Marathi Muslim family.

She is the only daughter in her family and was raised with four siblings. She completed her early schooling at Sacred Hearts Convent in Ratnagiri and later moved to Mumbai to continue her education. In Mumbai, she enrolled at SNDT College of Engineering, where she completed her first semester in Information Technology before discontinuing her studies to pursue acting full-time. She is also a trained Kathak dancer.

She made her cinematic debut in 2002 with the Telugu film Jayam, directed by Teja and starring alongside Nithiin; the same film was released in Tamil as Jayam with Jeyam Ravi.

Her debut was a commercial hit, and she won the Filmfare Best Newcomer Award for her performance in Tamil in 2002. Following her debut, she appeared in Telugu films such as Aethiree (opposite Madhavan) and Varnajalam (opposite Srikanth).

Her most successful and notable film to date is the Tamil blockbuster Anniyan (2005), directed by S. Shankar and starring Vikram, in which she played a pivotal role. The film was a massive hit in Tamil Nadu and was later dubbed into Telugu as Aparichitudu.

She also starred in the Kannada film Monalisa (2004), the Hindi film Click (2010), and the Tamil film Unnale Unnale. In 2018, she appeared in the Tamil film Torchlight.

Beyond films, she has worked extensively in Telugu television and has served as a judge on popular dance competition shows such as Dhee Juniors and Jodi No 1. She is an animal rights supporter and animal rescuer, actively supports the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations (FIAPO), and is a committed vegan who promotes veganism.

Her screen name "Sadha" is derived from her real name, and her nickname is "darlo" (from "darling").
