Born in Goalpara, Assam, into an Assamese Muslim family, he was the youngest of seven children in a home where education played a significant role, his father was a high school headmaster.
His early life was rooted in Assam, and his multicultural heritage includes an Iraqi maternal grandfather and an Assamese-English-Italian maternal grandmother.
From a young age, he showed a passion for the performing arts, frequently participating in school plays and local theatre productions in Goalpara. At age 18, he left home to study philosophy at B.
