Aashish Chaudhary was born on July 21, 1978, in Guwahati, Assam, India, into a middle-class family. His father is Indur Chowdhry, and his mother is Sangeeta Chowdhry. He had a sister named Monica Chowdhry, who has passed away. Aashish began modeling and appearing in TV commercials from a young age during his school years. 

He is married to actress Samita Bangargi. The couple met while shooting for a Disney show on Doordarshan, developed a friendship that lasted seven years, and eventually married on January 27, 2006. They have three children: a son named Agastya and twin daughters named Salara and Sammah.

Aashish Chaudhary is deeply devoted to Lord Ganesha, maintains a strong commitment to fitness, and is involved with social causes through various NGOs. He endured significant personal tragedy during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, when he lost his sister Monica and brother-in-law Ajit.

He started his career as a model, appearing in commercials and music videos, before making his acting debut in 1995 with the TV serial “Apne Jaise Types,” in which he played the lead role of Rohan. He subsequently acted in several TV serials such as "Khiladi," "Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye," and "Dev."

His film career began with the lead role in "Chalo America" (1999). He gained critical notice with his breakthrough role in "Qayamat: City Under Threat" (2003).

He became widely recognized for his role as Boman Contractor in the popular comedy "Dhamaal" (2007) and its sequels "Double Dhamaal" (2011) and "Total Dhamaal" (2019). Other notable films include "Shaadi Ka Laddoo" (2004), "Girlfriend" (2004), "Fight Club - Members Only" (2006), "Teesri Aankh: The Hidden Camera" (2006), "Speed" (2007), "Paying Guests" (2009), "Rama Rama Kya Hai Dramaaa" (2008), "Kisse Pyaar Karoon" (2009), and a cameo appearance in "Bhoothnath" (2008).
